We live in a busy, crowded and noisy world.  The site for CSC was chosen because it is quiet and because it has ponds, a ravine and a river view which call the heart back to a time of greater peace and simplicity.  The buildings are all bungalow style and there is a focus on green space and on amenities which offer solitude within the context of community.

One of the greatest concerns relating to seniors is simple isolation.  There are many seniors who do not have family or whose family live in distant places.   Many struggle to find meaningful community and help in meeting their basic daily needs.  While there are many wonderful homes for seniors, CSC offers a somewhat unique concept of care that is integrative at its core.  It is our intent to provide residents with opportunities to know one another and also to integrate with the broader community.

CSC is a community where resident equality is a fundamental value. In creating resident equality, it is also important to note that it is our desire that no one be left behind for financial or any other reason.  Every effort will be made to offer care and support to all who desire to live in the community.

The care homes for CSC were designed to create a family atmosphere.  The largest buildings contain only ten units as well as a common area.  It is our intent to have staff who know and genuinely care for the residents.  All effort will be made to provide the most personalized care possible within reasonable cost parameters.

Residents and investors have every reason to expect full financial accountability.  CSC will be governed by an experienced board of directors and will implement systems, policies and procedures which will be designed to ensure that the board is able to meet its two fold duties: [1] Duty of Care for Residents [2] Fiduciary Duty to Investors.  All best practices for financial accountability will be implemented including the utilization of new technologies which allow for greater oversight by the board and also independent third parties where required.
