Chara Foundation, a not-for-profit organization, was originally founded with the desire to honour and support seniors as very valued contributing members of our communities.
The proposed Chara Seniors Community is being planned as an option for seniors who would favor and appreciate an ‘aging in place’ seniors community model.
The primary focus of Chara Foundation, however, has been, and continues to be, to promote awareness regarding seniors’ issues, to provide information and resources for seniors, and to be sensitive to seniors that are feeling the need for some additional care and support as they age. Many seniors are struggling as they navigate the rapidly changing and increasingly complex world that we live in. Chara Foundation wants to help.
