ABOUT TROY

I was born and raised on a farm just west of Calgary. I grew up riding horses and experiencing rural life. Life on the farm taught me to have a ‘get it done’ attitude and look for innovative and creative ways to solve problems. The early impressions of farm life and problem solving translated into a passion for engineering – which is problem solving at its best! Through my career I have had the pleasure of working with fantastic engineers and mentors, inspiring me to pass my learning along to pave the way for the future leaders of the industry. While there have been many interesting and successful engineering projects completed in my career, my greatest accomplishment has been watching the young staff I mentored grow into great engineers with a fore thought to making a difference.
