All independent living and care home units will be leased only and no units will be available for purchase. The lease costs will include administration, insurance, property management, property taxes and rent for the unit. Utilities will be the responsibility of the tenant. We will be pursuing net-zero (producing as much energy as is being consumed in a year) to endeavour to lower long term utility costs.
We are currently pursuing every possible strategy to reduce lease costs, but we also recognize the difficulties in operating in a COVID world that is facing labour shortages and the highest inflation in decades. We will be monitoring all of these factors very closely.
